Time to get the job done   Show/Hide This Report
It's the 19th of October and I'll be concentrating on hunting in Buffalo County for a while. I like this time of pre-rut because I've seen good daytime movement of mature bucks at this stage of the game. My observations have taught me that the doe groups and immature bucks lay low during daylight while the mature bucks tend to move now. What better scenario could you ask for than to have mainly good bucks on the move and everything else sitting tight. If you see a deer it is probably a good buck! This same situation does not seem to be true in my local (Southern WI) herd, since most of those deer are dead from 5 years of "kill em all" CWD management. So it's off to the "Promised Land" for a slob tsunami.

Climb to the top of the charts!  Play Star Shuffle:  the word scramble challenge with star power. Play Now!
