Here is our buck pole picture from opening week of rifle season in mackinac county. Three eight points, the biggest dressing out at 185lbs.

Nice bucks! I see a lot of future potential in the U.P. if we get a couple of esy winters and the antler restrictions help save a few up-and-coming bucks. It wouldn't bother me if they did away with baiting also.

Most of us stand hunt. My Dad and a few of his buddies, like to spot and stalk and do very well. Most of the guys in our hunting group are from the Saline area. My Dad and his hunting club have going up there for the last forty years. Me and the group I hunt with, have been going for about 5 years.
